I got a Linked In message from one of my groups that I am a member of this week. The message was about the best videos to inspire entrepreneurs. I liked the list, but I think there are few others that need mentioning too!
So, this week, instead of me preaching success habits, I am going to share some videos that will inspire, teach and help you in your venture.
Stay Successful my friends! Oh and break out the popcorn! Ready on the set!
Enjoy!
My first recommendation is from Dr. Seuss…this is what being in business is truly like, you need to be open and have that inner belief…this video is a great reminder of pushing through even when times are challenging!
Oh the places you’ll go!
The E-Myth-Michael Gerber
Michael Gerber is the author of the book, The E-Myth Revisited. He is the man that coined the phrase, “Working on your business and not in your business”. Here is a great video, that discusses the message in the E-Myth and will open your eyes to building a system that will allow your businesses to run without you!
Sally Hogshead-How to Fascinate
Our third choice is a Tedx Talk by Sally Hogshead. in this day and age of clutter, a ton of marketing noise, a lower attention span of those you are trying to connect with and so much competition…Sally teaches you to stand out and fascinate your market, so you can begin to build business relationships and get clients that pay!
Gary Vaynerchuk-The Power of Story-telling
Our fourth video is by Gary Vaynerchuk, he is brilliant at marketing, especially in the online world we now live in. In this video from a few years ago, Gary, talks about the Power of Story Telling in a business context…What is your “Why”,. what is your value proposition? What is the reason you do what you do? Why are you doing what you do?
Break out the licorice and sip on your soda, this video is about 20+ minutes…Enjoy!
The Last video in my personal selection is from a PBS documentary that came out about 9 years ago. It is called “Leading with Kindness”. It is about leadership in business. This is a story about a fabulous clothing store and how they differentiate themselves from the competition and do really well!
Jack Mitchell is a partner in a family business…he is author of 2 brilliant books, one is called “Hug Your Customer’s” the other is called “Hug your People”. Both great books to help you achieve customer service and management/leadership excellence!
Jack Mitchell-Mitchell Richards Clothing Store…
Honourable mentions go to any video featuring Chris Zane from Zanes Cycles, Kip Tindell from the Container Store and Tony Robbin’s documentary…I am not your guru…
Here it is as a bonus:
Make it a great week!
